Our company successfully held the QCC meeting recently. Mr. Lin Managing Director, Mr. Wang Vice General Manager, Hiroshi Seki Quality Director, Mr. Xie LCD Factory Director, Mr. Ding LCM Factory Director and each department manager to attend this meeting.

In 2016, under the leading of Hiroshi Seki, TQM office actively launched “Problem Solving Activity”, established a management system for the purpose of problem-solving.

Quality director Hiroshi Seki led this QCC activity is different from previous QCC activities. This QCC activity, firstly every department finds out the problem according to quality cost loss, summary form “Problem Map”, then according to “urgent, important, and difficult” to determine the topic priority order. Immediately set up the QCC team after project approval for problem solving. For previous QCC, formed QC team firstly, it need find out the problem by them, then the QC members discuss and solve, equivalently the team members are fixed.

We carried out more than 200 QCC activities in 2016, this meeting every department only selects one QCC topic to presentation. We learn and communicate each other. After the QCC captain published, the manager, factory director, quality director and managing director commented and concluded. Company leaders expressed their full affirmation, congratulations and encouragement for this QCC activity. Meanwhile, the leader also pointed out that the QCC activity to launch the grassroots staff is not enough, has not fully let the staffs spontaneously to QCC activities. This year we will take a series of incentives to encourage all employees to participate in the “problem solving activities”. TQM office will also carry out the appropriate training and technical support.

“This QCC meeting I feel back to 32 years ago.” Mr. Lin Managing director said. “In 1985, I also organized and participated in QCC activities, and deeply realized the benefits of QCC activities.

Starting in April, TQM will continue to promote the basic knowledge of training QCC, let the frontline staff participate in QCC activities. Let all employees master quick and easy methods to solve the problem.
